Quick Answer
Use this procedure only when the PJ180 touchscreen matches the MCGS interface shown below. On this version, A Spd and B Spd are separate gram targets for a five-second discharge, and the production A:B ratio is based on weight. Verify each component with a timed weight test, correct only its calibration factor, then restore the mixer and make one controlled waste discharge before testing a product. PJ180 does not need XYZ path programming.
Before You Start
- Use the machine nameplate, delivered configuration, current Robota manual and the resin supplier’s TDS and SDS.
- If your screen does not match the MCGS interface in this tutorial, stop and use the instructions supplied with that machine.
- Prepare the approved A and B materials, separate clean collection cups, a suitable scale, waste container and required PPE.
- Before removing the common mixing tube and blade for separate collection, stop the machine and follow the delivered shutdown and safe-pressure-release procedure. Never remove mixing parts while a pump or mixing motor is running.
- Confirm the cleaning liquid is compatible with the resin and machine materials. Do not copy a temperature, pressure or ratio from another resin.
- Tank stirring and vacuum are optional. A button in a manual does not confirm that the hardware is installed on your machine.
Step-by-Step Procedure
- Confirm the order-specific power, grounding, air connection and emergency-stop condition before switching on.
- Check resin levels, tank lids, hoses, seals and outlet condition. Open only the valves required by the delivered configuration.
- With the common mixing tube and blade safely removed, route A and B into separate clean cups without passing either component through a common mixing chamber or residual mixed material. On the Main Page, keep Anti-Cure off for production setup and keep dynamic mixing off.
- Confirm that both three-way valves are in the approved open position. Never close a working valve or obstruct the outlet to force pressure through the system.

- Set the A and B timed-test fields to five seconds. Tare a clean cup, run Timed Disp. A, allow the final drop to settle and record the weight. Repeat for B with a separate clean cup.
- Compare each measured weight with its own A Spd or B Spd target. If correction is needed, change only the matching A or B calibration factor. A larger factor increases actual delivery; a smaller factor decreases it.
- Repeat the weight checks until readings are stable for the approved job. Do not change the production ratio to hide a component-delivery error.

- After the separate readings are confirmed, stop the machine and follow the same delivered shutdown and safe-pressure-release procedure to reinstall the confirmed mixing blade and tube. Then use A+B timed or jog dispensing into a waste cup and run dynamic mixing as required by the delivered setup until the flow is continuous and free of visible air.
- Do not use the manual’s high-pressure valve-blocking method. If residual air, interrupted flow or abnormal pressure remains after the normal purge sequence, stop and contact Robota.
- Check clean shut-off, then dispense conservatively onto one level sample. Keep resin inside the intended edge and cure it only under the resin supplier’s approved conditions.
Completion Checkpoints
- A and B five-second weights are stable and match the approved job targets.
- The production weight ratio remains the approved resin ratio; it was not used as a calibration workaround.
- Mixed flow is continuous, with no visible air pocket, leakage or abnormal pressure.
- The outlet stops cleanly and the first sample stays inside the intended edge.
