Work through the screens in order: complete the physical checks, confirm the active A1/A2 system, verify manual controls, calibrate A and B separately, purge air into a waste cup, test material cut-off, finish the cleaning cycle, and clear any alarm cause. Reset the XYZ platform and run motion only after the resin system is stable.

Before You Start

  • Use the delivered DJ771 configuration, machine nameplate, current Robota manual and approved job record.
  • Prepare the approved A and B materials, flush fluid, mixer parts, waste cups, a scale and the required personal protective equipment.
  • Inspect the power, grounding, compressed-air connection, emergency stop, tank levels, valves, hoses, seals and dispensing outlet before startup.
  • Treat all values visible in screenshots as examples. Do not copy a ratio, speed, time, pressure or maintenance value from an image.
  • Before removing or installing the mixing tube, stop the pumps and mixer and follow the approved maintenance procedure to confirm the machine is safe to service.
  • Keep the worktable clear. Do not change Factory Settings or force I/O outputs unless Robota has authorized the work.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Start the Touchscreen and Confirm the Active System

  1. Turn on the delivered machine after the physical checks are complete. On the startup screen, select English, then tap Enter System.
  2. On DJ771 models fitted with two A-component tanks, tap the selector in the upper-left corner to switch between A1 and A2. The button shows A1 System Active or A2 System Active, and Operating Parameters displays the matching A1 Pump or A2 Pump row.
  3. Read Tank Heating, Dispensing and Anti-Cure as separate states. The two Main Page captures demonstrate different states; they do not define a production sequence.
  4. Confirm that the displayed ratio and speed values match the approved job record and that no unresolved alarm or low-level prompt remains.

The two Main Page captures show the selector in its A1 and A2 states. This selector applies only to DJ771 models fitted with two A-component tanks; screenshot values remain examples.

Use the Manual Page for Controlled Checks

  1. From the bottom navigation, open Manual Page. A button shows the next action: OPEN or START when inactive, and CLOSE or STOP after activation. The adjacent lamp turns green while the command is active.
  2. For a configured vacuum tank, Start Vacuum begins the timed command, Run Time is the entered duration and Countdown is display only. Use only the duration approved for the supplied system; Stop Vacuum ends the command.
  3. Use A Valve OPEN, B Valve OPEN and Flush OPEN only for the intended line. Use Mixer START, A Pump START and B Pump START for controlled checks of the named device.
  4. A+B Pumps START runs the active A pump and B pump together. The all-green capture demonstrates interface states only; it is not a normal operating sequence and does not prove PLC interlocks.
  5. After a check, use the corresponding CLOSE or STOP command and confirm that the state lamp returns to inactive before leaving the page.

Check User Parameters and Calibrate A and B

  1. Open Parameters. On the Parameters page, only the ratio field for the active A system is shown: A1 Ratio when A1 is active, or A2 Ratio when A2 is active. Set the displayed A ratio and B Ratio for the required material mixing ratio. A1/A2 selection applies only to models fitted with two A-component tanks.
  2. Blue fields accept operator input where access is enabled; black fields are read-only. Mixer speeds are shown in r/min. Total Continuous Rate, Total Metered Rate and the A/B Continuous and Metered Amount rows are shown in g/s. Calibration uses Weight (g).
  3. Stop the pumps and mixer. If the mixing tube must be removed, follow the approved maintenance procedure to confirm the machine is safe to service. Tare a disposable cup and position it below the outlet before resuming the calibration test.
  4. Use the approved Test Pulse value. Tap Test A Pump and collect three runs with the same pulse value. Enter the median measured weight in A Pump Weight (g), then repeat the runs to confirm consistency.
  5. Repeat the same separate process with Test B Pump and B Pump Weight (g). Do not copy the 2000, 2.40 or other values visible in the screenshots.
  6. Continue only when the repeated A and B weights are stable and match the approved setup.

Purge Air and Complete a Test Dispense

  1. Before installing the mixing blade or mixing tube, stop the pumps and mixer and follow the approved maintenance procedure to confirm the machine is safe to service.
  2. After the parts are secure and a waste cup is in position, open the Manual Page. Tap B Pump START until Component B reaches the mixing tube, then tap B Pump STOP.
  3. Tap A+B Pumps START until trapped air is discharged from the mixing tube, then tap A+B Pumps STOP.
  4. Tap Mixer START and run it for more than five seconds, then tap Mixer STOP. Do not assume another command or an unverified interlock will stop it.
  5. Repeat the purge only if air remains. When the outlet flow is stable, perform the approved waste-cup test dispense and check material cut-off and suck-back. Stop if resin continues to drip or air enters the mixing tube.

Finish the Cleaning Cycle

  1. Open Clean Page. Open and Start are next-action labels; after activation, the relevant lamp turns green and the button changes to Close or Stop.
  2. Switch the A and B three-way valves to the flush-fluid side by following the arrows on the valve handles, then open the flush-tank lid air-inlet valve.
  3. Tap Mixer Start, then Flush Fluid Start. Observe the mixing tube and repeat the flush as required until the discharge is clean.
  4. Tap Flush Fluid Stop and keep the mixer running until the remaining liquid is expelled. Close the AB Valve and the cleaning-tank lid valve as shown in the manual.
  5. Before detaching the mixing tube, stop the pumps and mixer and follow the approved maintenance procedure to confirm the machine is safe to service. Detach the tube only after that check, then clean remaining material from the outlet.
  6. Confirm that the flush and mixer controls are stopped, no mixed residue remains at the outlet and the equipment is left in the approved post-cleaning state.

Review Alarms and Low-Level Prompts

  1. Open Alarm. Alarm History lists Time, Date and Message. Use Asc to change order and Previous or Next to move through records.
  2. Record the event before using Clear Log. Clear Log removes stored history; it does not correct the alarm cause.
  3. Read each low-level popup by name: A Tank Low / Refill Component A, B Tank Low / Refill Component B or Flush Tank Low / Refill Flush Fluid. Refill only the named material.
  4. Safely correct the cause before acknowledging the prompt or using Reset Alarm. Stop and contact Robota if the message returns or the cause is unclear.

Use I/O Settings for Basic Diagnosis

  1. Open I/O Page only for diagnosis. Use the English X-input and Y-output labels to identify the signal related to a sensor, valve, pump, mixer, vacuum, heater, light or buzzer.
  2. The supplied capture does not establish which lamp color means active. Compare the displayed point with an actual signal test and the approved electrical drawing.
  3. Do not force an output unless Robota has authorized the work. If the displayed state does not match the physical device or drawing, stop operation and record the point label before requesting support.

Completion Checkpoints

  • On a dual-A-tank model, the selector text, Operating Parameters pump row and Parameters A-ratio field match the selected A1 or A2 system.
  • No unresolved low-level prompt, alarm, leakage, abnormal pressure or unexpected movement remains.
  • A and B calibration results are repeatable and match the approved setup.
  • The mixing tube is secure, outlet flow is stable and air-free, and material cut-off is acceptable.
  • Manual and cleaning controls have been returned to the approved stopped state.
  • Only after these checks should the operator reset XYZ and complete a motion-only dry run.

Stop and Contact Robota When

  • On a dual-A-tank model, the Operating Parameters pump row or Parameters A-ratio field does not update to match the A1/A2 selector.
  • A field meaning, unit, active-state indication or PLC interlock behavior is unclear.
  • The electrical, pneumatic, pressure or resin configuration differs from the manual or commissioning record.
  • The resin ratio, approved flush liquid or pump compatibility is uncertain.
  • An alarm returns, calibration remains unstable, resin continues to drip or air remains in the mixing tube after the confirmed checks.
