On the shown MCGS interface, A Spd and B Spd are the target grams delivered by each component in five seconds. They are not volumetric flow values. Keep dynamic mixing off, confirm the correct valve positions, weigh A and B separately, then adjust only the matching calibration factor until actual weight agrees with the approved target. A larger factor increases delivery. Do not change the production A:B weight ratio to compensate for a calibration error.
Before You Start
- Confirm that the touchscreen matches this tutorial and that the approved A:B weight ratio and A/B five-second targets are documented for the current resin.
- Prepare separate clean cups, a suitable scale, waste container and required PPE.
- Before removing the common mixing tube and blade for separate collection, stop the machine and follow the delivered shutdown and safe-pressure-release procedure. Never remove mixing parts while a pump or mixing motor is running.
- Confirm the equipment has the required air supply, both three-way valves are in the approved open position and dynamic mixing is off.
- Do not change pump model, acceleration, resin ratio, heating condition or other factory settings during this calibration.
Step-by-Step Procedure
- With the common mixing tube and blade safely removed, route A and B into separate clean cups without passing either component through a common mixing chamber or residual mixed material. On the Main Page, set the A and B timed-test fields to exactly five seconds, confirm Mix Tube Off and keep Anti-Cure off during calibration and production setup.
- Confirm the valves are in the approved open position. Never close a working three-way valve or obstruct the outlet to create purge pressure.

- Tare a clean cup, run Timed Disp. A, allow the final drop to settle and record the actual A weight. Repeat the measurement as needed to separate normal scale variation from a real delivery error.
- Compare the actual A weight with the A Spd target in grams per five seconds. Open Params → A/B Qty Calib and adjust only A Calib Factor: increase it to increase delivery or decrease it to reduce delivery.

- Repeat A until the readings are stable and agree with the approved target. The source manual notes that three to five weighings are typically sufficient for adjustment.
- Use a separate clean cup and repeat the same timed test and factor adjustment for B only.

- After the separate readings are confirmed, stop the machine and follow the same delivered shutdown and safe-pressure-release procedure to reinstall the confirmed mixing blade and tube. Restore the approved production settings and keep the resin ratio unchanged.
- Make a controlled A+B discharge into waste and check mixed flow and shut-off before testing one product. If air or abnormal pressure remains, stop and contact Robota rather than forcing a blocked purge.
